I have been a cleaner and carer for many years. Privately and with my mother having been diagnosed with dementia in 2014 have helped with my mother also. I joined Community Carers Wellington in March of this year but have worked privately caring before March. The work is rewarding and I have met some wonderful people since joining, it hardly feels like work sometimes.
